More About the Control4 System

Through the controller, you can programme the lights, raise or lower the blinds, open or close shutters, adjust the thermostat, open or close door locks, change the angle on the security cameras and more. There are 3 different types of Control4 system controllers:
The CA-1 Controller
The CA-1 controller is the basic controller that enables smart products to work in concert to provide seamless automation of lighting, environmental controls, security systems and more. It is the simplest of the Control4 controllers and the most affordable. The CA-1 controller can be accessed via the Control4 app for total control of your home from anywhere on the planet.
The EA Controller
The EA controller is a mid-range controller option that can attach to the TV via HDMI and is able to distribute as many as 3 high-res audio streams simultaneously. The TV display makes controlling all your AV action simple and quick. You also have the option of foregoing the TV display and accessing the controller from a mobile device or universal remote. The ZigBee processor provides nextgen levels of performance.
The CA-10 Controller
The CA-10 is Control4's big job, purpose-built controller. It delivers 4 times the processing power of the company's other controllers and provides first-rate performance no matter how many devices are plugged into the system. The CA-10 is designed to be the primary controller on large installations and is engineered with a variety of fail-safes that keep the system up and running in the event of power supply or hardware failures.
